Fisher Space Pen - Chrome

Product Code: 020583

You've heard of this pen and have probably seen it on television. Now is your chance to have one of your very own...or give it to the person who has everything!

The pressurized Space Pen was invented by Paul Fisher in July 1965. It was used on the Apollo Missions and are now used on all manned American and Russian space flights. The Space Pen technology starts with a non-skip, textured tungsten-carbide ball encased in a stainless steel ball socket, designed and machined to almost perfect precision. The sealed ink cartridge is pressurized with a solid-gel ink and the result is a ballpoint pen that will write dependably smooth upside down, underwater, over grease, in extreme cold and hot temperatures, with an estimated shelf-life of 100 years.

When closed, this pen is the perfect size for slipping into a pocket or bag or to keep in the car. But when opened, it is a regular sized pen.
